Experienced Horsewoman and Naturopath
Camilla Whishaw is a highly regarded, experienced horsewoman and naturopath. She has a lifelong involvement with horses, competing as an equestrian and working extensively in the racing and breeding industry. From a young age, Camilla helped her parents run their Thoroughbred stud. She later furthered her experience and expertise in wider Australia and overseas. She works alongside and collaborates with some of the World’s leading equine vets and health care professionals.
As a dedicated athlete, Camilla has always been passionate about health, wellbeing and performance. When faced with significant health challenges in her late teens and early twenties which didn’t respond to conventional treatment, she turned to alternative therapies. The ways in which these positively turned her life around sparked an insatiable thirst for learning- leading to her studying naturopathy, where she gained a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy).
It was only natural that her passions for horses and natural health combined- leading her to becoming the sought after equine naturopath she is today.
As an equine health professional and a horsewoman, Camilla understands the needs and practicalities when feeding, managing and treating horses.
Camilla helps to holistically treat and manage a broad range of health conditions and injuries, with a particular passion for stallion fertility, problem pregnancy mares, digestive health, immune challenges, neurological cases and inflammatory bowel disease.
As a fully qualified and accredited naturopath, she is a member of professional associations ANTA and ATMS and is a TGA registered practitioner.
